    silly I’m unsure
Where or how can I find out about sales?
Is anyone selling books and making money.

I go on these forum sites and no one ever mentions sales, up or down over last year.

I am an old retailer and we always new how the industry was doing. We knew when the slow times were and when the biz was picking up, is there seasons in book sales?

I just started and wanted to find out what i was doing before I went FBA POWER.
I was hoping to make a little money before I invested in your system.

I did the Proven Amazon Course and want to get my biz going, but am I just investing in the guys who are selling the tools?

    happy I’m sure
You would probably have to ask someone directly about sales. Not sure if people would post details just for fun.

Here is a good group of people who help each other. Many successful sellers making real money every day. If they weren't, there would be nothing to talk about:
    http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/BookSellersFBA/

You're probably not going to get a feel for how your individual business is fairing by comparing to other people's businesses. Everyone runs their FBA business a little differently and that's OK. There is no report that says if everyone is doing good or if everyone is doing poorly.

Just because I'm making money, doesn't mean you'll be making money. The only way to make this business work is to go out and find products to sell. These products need to have profitable margins. Find some items that you think would be profitable and evaluate them using the FBA Calculator:
    https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/fbacalc/fba-calculator.html

All fees are known ahead of time. The only way to turn a profit is to actually buy items and send them to FBA and get some sales.

There are book sales all year long. Thrift stores and retail stores are open every day. Garage sales every weekend. No shortage of supply. FBA, FBAPower, and FBAScout are not just for books. We have users buying and selling food & grocery items, health and beauty care, toys, tools, automotive, etc. The only limitation is if the user wants to only sell certain products.

You don't need FBAScout or FBAPower to try using FBA. FBAPower makes the labeling, pricing, and submission process very efficient, and FBAScout gives you a perfect snapshot of Amazon pricing data so that you can make the best buying decisions. Use our tools whenever you're ready but you don't need them to start. To start, you just need to go out and see what kinds of products are available in your area that have high enough margins to fit your target goals.
